Tension Drops Therapy.

Each touch has value.

The Session

A 35-minute session, fully clothed.

About 25 minutes is spent making light contact along specific anatomical points that invite the release of held tension, with cranial holds, gentle unwinding, and muscle compression added as the body calls for them – the follow-through that lets a release complete rather than stall.

What Happens

When tension drops, the body often begins to move out of bracing. Breathing may ease, muscular holding can soften, and there is simply less effort being used to hold everything in place.

What that opens up is integration: with some of that effort set down, the system has room to settle and reorganize. The session creates conditions in which the body can do more of its own work.

Most people notice it as a kind of quiet self-awareness – the body’s own sense of itself, arrived at through touch and a fuller breath rather than through thinking about it.

Who It Is For

It is for anyone whose body is working hard – at a job, through change, in movement, in caregiving, in creativity, or simply in daily life.

This work suits people who carry tension in the spine, neck, and jaw, people who get headaches, and people living with ongoing stress – the kind that stops being an event and becomes a background setting, held in the body long after the situation has passed.

If that describes you, a session is a chance to exhale. Each contact invites you to let a little more go, and as tension drops, people often notice greater ease in the places that have been carrying it. Nothing is forced. You are giving yourself the time and the conditions to let go and integrate.

A Note on This Work

This is subtle work. It is not deep pressure, and it does not try to force change. What it does is let tension drop – and when the body is less braced, perception tends to open with it. People often describe feeling more present, more connected to themselves, and less separated from what is around them.

Booking Note
